I get bored of my hair so easily! I have been from brunette to bright red and then blonde, but after being back brunette for a year I decided it was time for a change. I want to go lighter again and without damaging my hair so I’ll have to do it gradually with blonde highlights until I am at a colour I am happy with. Linzi, my hairdresser is amazing – I’ve been with her for about 6 years, from when she worked in a hairdressers to her now being self-employed. She knows exactly what will work for my hair-type and what won’t. As my hair was red for a while, the pigment of this sticks to your hair and no matter what colour you decide to try, it will always shine through a little (until its eventually all grown out).
My hair had basically gone a ginger ombre from the brunette fading on top of the blonde. Linzi decided it would be best to go for a full head of blonde highlights to lighten my full head. After this was washed out, an ash toner was applied all over. The results are amazing. It has left me with “bronde” ombre and highlights throughout. This will keep getting lighter the more I get it done, but there’s no point rushing as I want my hair to stay healthy. She has done a fantastic job – I am so happy with it! Below are my before and after photos… yes, my hair is very wild in the ‘before’, it’s so thick haha!
What a difference! I would say it’s a bit lighter in person in natural light, but it blends so nicely. Do you like it??
